From a young age, Sequoyah has been fascinated with the art of planning and organization. Her mother still fondly recalls how she would meticulously plan her birthday parties as a child from the moment that she learned to write. Complete with timelines, layouts, and design boards, she knew that no good party happened without a vision and clear execution! As she grew older, her passion for planning only intensified. She went to school for business, but it wasn’t until she discovered the world of event planning that she felt like she had truly found her calling.

Now, as a lead planner at Nellie Hill Events, she is thrilled to be able to share her enthusiasm and true love for event planning. She believes that a great planner should be passionate about what they do and able to match the energy and excitement of their clients. And for her, that’s exactly what she does.

Whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, or retreat, she is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences that exceed expectations. And it’s because of her genuine love for what she does that she is so excited to collaborate with each client, making their special day or occasion truly unforgettable.

When not planning the next event, you can find Sequoyah on her family farm, playing with her son, or just curled up enjoying a good book.

Haley joined Nellie Hill Events with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences. With over a year of experience in the wedding industry, she brings a fresh perspective and a dedication to excellence to the team.

While studying business management and project management at Siena College, Haley was an active member of the American Red Cross’s steering committee. They planned their annual Fire and Ice Gala for 600 guests. This experience honed her skills in large-scale event coordination and further proved that she thrived in meticulous planning and attention to detail. She enjoys the tedious tasks that many don’t want to do when it comes to planning any event.

At Nellie Hill Events, Haley is known for her thoroughness, ensuring every detail is meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. She supports Nellie and Sequoyah to ensure that all the clients’ needs are being met, contributing to the seamless execution of each event.

Outside of work, Haley enjoys bullet journaling, cake decorating, and being in nature, which often inspire her creative approach to event planning. She is excited to be part of the Nellie Hill Events family and looks forward to helping clients celebrate their special moments.
