Meet Nellie

Nellie Hill has been producing and designing events for over a decade in the Hudson Valley and beyond.

Her passion for parties and events started  at the ripe old age of three, when she would create custom place cards at family celebrations. Her experience in producing events professionally began in the radio industry working in the promotional department, where she managed special promotions, custom giveaways and large scale events. She held similar roles in the restaurant and service industry combining her talent for organizing and planning, with culinary flair. To further expand her creative skills, she managed a DJ company, working closely with both musicians and clients while taking the lead on charitable events and galas. Various not-for-profit occasions she proudly managed include for Woodstock Day School, The O+ Festival, Northern Dutchess Hospital Mother’s Club and Family of Woodstock. She launched Nellie Hill Events in 2016. Her love of private and family events steered her fate and she realized weddings are her happy place. 

Nellie boasts impressive relationships with service industry leaders in the Hudson Valley and northeast region, including photographers, musicians, caterers, florists, dress designers and more.

Besides her love of parties and events, you can find Nellie reviving a good old piece of furniture to its former glory or cooking a meal with her family. Nellie lives in Kingston, New York with her husband Brad, where they were both born and raised. They have two incredible daughters, Emilia and Clara. They also have a cute little Yorkie mix named Dash and a very large cat named Whiskey.  Nellie is a graduate of Marist College with a degree in Communications.
